The Fresh Egg Donor Program at MyEggBank

The fresh egg donor program at MyEggBank will provide our patients with even more options for creating a family. Fresh donor eggs are a great option for people who want to build a family consisting of two or more genetically related children from the same donor. It’s also a great option for patients who require genetic testing for dominant diseases coming from the paternal side.

How Fresh Egg Donor Cycles Work
The beginning stages of starting a cycle with a fresh donor egg are similar to starting a cycle with a frozen one: Intended parents start by browsing the MyEggBank donor database and finding an egg donor that they like. Because we perform an extensive screening process on all our donors to ensure that they’re physically, mentally, genetically, and reproductively healthy, all you have to focus on is finding an ideal match.

Once you’ve chosen a donor, we will ship a sperm sample of your preference to the MyEggBank inventory center of your egg donor. The egg will be retrieved from the donor and then fertilized in our lab. The ensuing embryo will be frozen and shipped back to your center so that you can receive the embryo transfer.
